I imagine for her own peace of mind. Other countries have strict laws against stalkerazzi, especially where children are concerned. It's a total contrast to the United States where stalkers and invasive paparazzi are a socially viral and accepted phenomenon. In general people just aren't as rabid obsessed by US celebrities, usually limiting their interest to when people have projects to promote, or the occasional vacation shot. Certainly no hiding in the bushes while children play, ect...
