Madonna is a fuckin assclown compared to Iggy pop. Nothing she's done will ever be remembered as a speck of what Iggy Pop has done. Actually, this song sounds better in this form. This is rough crowd for Iggy pop. It doesnt help that the dude can never put on a shirt. I mean he is seriously scary, but musically, he's a god.

I think she scored herself BIG points by having*IGGY AND THE STOOGES*play, like she knows something about real punkrock'n'roll. And I think Ig enjoyed himself( not as much as being photo'd with me in Leeds,Town and Country club '93?, until I realised who I was with an' my brain fell in my ass..) The song is pure crap. I mean, the version is worse than awful, even Iggy looks fat and the Stooges sound bland, but the face of every pop fan in the room (yes, I am looking at you Timberlake) is priceless.
Besides, I suppose Madonna wanted to mockingly put an end to those very insistent complaints about her getting inducted while being a pop artist and, correct me if I am mistaken, The Stooges ain-t.
It doesnt earn Madonna a spot in the Hall of Fame, but great idea anyway.
