Saying something is "stupid" is quite an argument. In my younger days I was part of a dance group that did traditional ethnic dancing and from that I also learned a lot about the culture and history of my forefathers. And boy was it "stupid." Also, it's narrow-minded to let a segment of people to have complete useage of a slogan, here, White Pride. You should be more tollerant.

It seems to me that the best interests of US whites (and, whites globally, even if nations like Zimbabwe), lie in being open to other "tribes" rather than being excessively afraid of them. I am defining interest in the widest possible sense-- security interest, economic interest, political, social, and emotional interest.

Right, so why have a fragile view of your tribe? I mean a "fragile" view like a hard-edged, uncompromising view. It seems to me that if you try to define your 'tribe' in a hard-edged, uncompromising way, you only end up with a narrow, angry, paranoid tribe. Why not instead define your tribe in a soft, inclusive kind of way? That's more flexible. Better yet, why not try to get beyond tribalism completely?
