Does anyone ... ( 1 year ago by 008klm)
Does anyone remember a Procol Harum song with a monologue in the middle? I can't remember the song title, but the monologue had words in it like "I look around me and everything I see is collapsed and crumbling..." and/or something about sitting staring at the ceiling...
Interesting lyrics at the time (late 60s, I think).

I have to admit that Mathew Fisher didn't get any kudos for the overwhelming presence of that organ. He went solo for a while, and I think he has a descent voice that no one has really praised enough, like "Wreck of the Hesperus", the song that drug me into the Harum. Yes,the originals were bound for glory.

The greatest rock group ever. Gary Brooker and A whiter Shade of pale was awsome song., But Matthew Fisher's organ really gave momentum to the song. It is in my view the soul of the song.
Yes, Gary I have nothing but admiration for you. You are a hero to many Native Americans. May the spirit wind protect you and your group always.
