For my 200th post, I present the original Joe Raposo film
song "Cats have kittens..." from 1969. I remember hearing Susan
Bob singing this song on the original Sesame Street album. I was two or three when my parents bought it for me and my older brothers and sister (1970 or '71). An interesting bit of news too; my parents have been friends with a couple from my hometown for about 40 years (my parents have lived in the same house since 1966) and the wife is none other than Joe Raposo's cousin. She wrote letters to me when I was in Saudi Arabia during the 1990-91 Gulf War.

Sorry if I sound wiers but that's how I inturpeted that Ducks have ducklings verse. What does that mean?
An absolute JR classic ?
Wow, as soon as I heard this, for the first time in 30+ years, I remembered all the words and sang along. My favorite verse, "goats have kids, like people have kids, like me and you!" Awesome. :)
Even on the 1st SS LP where Bob and Susan sung the song I even interrpited their version the same way.
