Buying a console for one game seems a bit hrm... pointless? Well, Abyss is definitely a good game. It's better than Symphonia IMO, but there are one or two glitches and the enemies are small so that can get annoying. Even so, it's a good game.

What was so bad about FFX? If it's the turn based combat, I can understand, or maybe the sphere grid. Those are the only parts that I can see as bad.

The sphere grid I disliked and I thought the character and voices were rubbish. You wake up 1000 years in the future, your home attack by a gigantic demonic beast called "Sin", you now have to help a summoner get elemental creatures to destroy it... blah blah blah blah blah. Like we haven't see that one a billion times?

As always, they left out a lot. Like the foton symbols, activate them with the right move and they have a great powerful surprize.

heh, all FF games are essentially the same, with moves and places tweaked a bit so the gamers don't get bored and go to the much better series of Tales of...

Well, abyss seems pretty kick ass. The voice actors remind me a tiny bit of TOS. I got symphonia on a whim about 3 years ago, and loved it. I beat it 6 times, and STILL haven't gotten every ending. Abyss and TOS seem to be the best Tales of... games, and I'd really like to get abyss. "Not as good as FF????" Are you kidding??? FF has no original story lines, it's basically the same thing tweaked a bit every time.

I'm a fan both series but FF has a little more devolped story I don't why a lot of people fight over that FF or Tales is better than the other I think they are equally match in graphics, story, and other stuff.
The one thing Tales always wins is it's kick ass battle system.

I like everything you say, your actually right. I love FF, but Tales of games more, for one reason. Tales of games don't modernize, that pisses me off more than anything about FF. In my opinion, the last good FF game was FFIX...

okay, this reviewer is a dumbass, Mieu does not live in your belly button, he lives in your item pack, and comes out when he needs to burn or break (or fly over) something.
