That's because you are the kind of person who minds other peoples business and you are the type that does the teasing. You only know what you feel and don't have empathy for Hirsute women and the Mental Anguish they feel on a daily basis. You only care about your feelings and your narrow point of view.

How very presumptive and arrogant of you to label me as such without knowing anything about me. You hurt your cause by attacking anyone with a different viewpoint rather than backing up your own statements with factual evidence. As a young boy I was teased constantly about my weight and overall lack of athleticism, but I didn't start popping anti-depressants when I came home crying because I was picked on.

I think its fine to shave but if someone is teasing you that is wrong. Its not like the letter said "I hate this hair" she dint say she dint want the hair but she was teased about it so she wanted to shave.

ok well im 13 and im not allowed to shave either but allowed to use nair which sucks! so i want to start shaving and its not cause people tease me and i do NOT tease other girls about them not shaving i just want to shave cause there is nothing wrong with it and i just feel so much better with smooth legs. In 5th grade i had a unibrow so i plucked it and now my eyebrows look aweful. NOW i have a mustache that needs to go, waxing is what i mean, without the mustache i know ill look/feel better (:

This is so bias. I personally don't think that there is anything wrong with a 13 year old girl shaving or waxing. I think it is a part of having good hygeine. I personally think it's discusting to see someone wearing a sleeve less shirt with hairy arm-pits. Although if I see someone like that I'm not going to talk about them or call them about it. Advertisments didn't influence me to start shaving or waxing! I don't wear shorts either so noone could see my legs. It was just to feel cleaner.

Wear leggings or pants (they're thicker) for winter, and tights in the summer (they're thinner).
Also, try and comprimise with you're parents, maybe you can start at a younger age then they want, but older than right now? Or maybe you can just shave when you know you're gonna be wearing alot of shorts
skirts?

Ok, one by being that stereotypical you're being just as rude as the "girls doing to teasing".
I'm 14 and I've been shaving since I was twelve. My leg hair is blond so I didn't shave cause I looked hairy, just cause I felt cleaner. And how do you know those girls make fun of people? do you even know who they are? They sound very understanding and kind to me.

another thing, I didn't see the video, because it's not playing on my stupid computer, but if you really have no problem with the girl not shaving, why would you even reply and call it discusting? And do you really think that having nicks on your legs is cleaner than having hair there?
