I like the beard, if he had that when he was still in the race i would have totally voted for him.

I guess Bill hasn't been listening to the right wing radio shows! They hate Mccain!

Exactly. As does a lot of the Republican base -- although when the nomination was basically decided, we saw McCain all of a sudden start backing the main Republican political points and falling in line with the Republican base. So he could end up bringing the party together, but there will always be that faction that knows he's just putting on a front to please the party base.

He won't endorse-he's probably on a short list somewhere for a cabinet position, wants to make sure he gets it. sigh.
Nice beard though!

I think Bill is ... ( 8 months ago by haobio)
I think Bill is right. When the Democratic Primary is dragging too long, and the campaign goes too negative, the Republicans will benefit.
He should have ... ( 8 months ago by haobio)
He should have shaved his beard, though. He looks rather strange with it.
But for one who is ... ( 8 months ago by WunderbaNinja)
But for one who is a man to comb himself and shave himself with a razor, for the sake of fine effect, to arrange his hair at the looking-glass, to shave his cheeks, pluck hairs out of them, and smooth them, how womanly! And, in truth, unless you saw them naked, you would suppose them to be women CLEMENT OF ALEXANDRIA

He didn't say ... ( 8 months ago by haobio)
He didn't say delegate leader should be the nominee. He just says let's get over with it because it's getting uglier each day, which can be damaging to the whole party.
I am not referring ... ( 8 months ago by donottake)
I am not referring to Clement of Alexandria, I am referring to Richardson of New Mexico and the man needs to shave and look presentable.
I don't think anyone wants to see this guy naked either.
Any fellow party ... ( 8 months ago by ermineermine)
Any fellow party member elected President who denies this man a major cabinet or ambassadorial post
'because he endorsed my rival as nominee'
1 is a poor sport, and
2 confirms precisely what this man is saying about Democratic Party attitudes--ugly.

Nobody dares rebuke ... ( 8 months ago by ermineermine)
Nobody dares rebuke Carter for his disastrous incompetence or Kerry for his equally-disastrous Freudian slips, but
1 WJ Clinton is demonised by his own for 'triangulation'
2 too many are still whingeing about the 2000 elections
3 too many are still whingeing about the 2004 election
4 inparty catfighting/gangsta-war for the 2008 nomination
--dirty fighters and sore losers.
Ugly attitudes which rival Rove's, Coulter's and Limbaugh's--that is one sight to sigh about.

I hope not--we do not need to have an otherwise-brilliant man with unassailable integrity turning into another profiteering faux-environmentalist.
Doesn't that tell ... ( 8 months ago by ermineermine)
Doesn't that tell you as much about how FELLOW PARTY MEMBERS view the two remaining candidates' character--if each one can be a good sport, or one a SORE LOSER and other a VINDICTIVE VICTOR?
What does that tell voters in general--never mind Republicans in particular--about attitudes within the Democratic Party? What does that in turn say about suitability for leading a country as big as America?
Bill brings up a ... ( 8 months ago by TheWill2Power)
Bill brings up a very important facet of politics today that most people completely clueless about; Superdelegates. That whole process is so undemocratic it's disgusting. Insider,under-the-table hand greasing.
What are you going ... ( 8 months ago by donottake)
What are you going to do now Richardson? Obama lost Ohio and Texas and still has a substantial lead in delegates. Suppose you were Clinton and reversed the momentum, would you quit?
I don't think ... ( 7 months ago by donottake)
I don't think enough Republicans voted in the Democratic race to make any difference and from what I heard the ones that did voted more for Obama since conservatives do not like Clinton.
I also heard than several of the caucasus were a fiasco. In urban areas like Houston, I was told people running the caucus wore Obama pins and only checked credentials for whites and mexicans but not blacks since they new the blacks supported Obama and did not want to turn them away.
