I'm not one for violence, but reacting in a violent manner isn't exacty the best solution. Instead of killing Sadam Housein and all these other people, negotiations would have served better. What I'm saying is that violence isn't the best answer. If anything, it's the worst.

throughout the past, before any of these wars started, Sadam violated UN rules, and they went through different sanctions, and lots of countries have tried to deal with him, including the USA, but he wouldn't do anything. Violence is a good solution if its the only solution. It was only a matter of time before he invaded another country, and produced more WMD's..so in other words, negotiations didn't work, and violence is the way to solve most problems.

And now we are their protecting the citizens from insurgents and allowing them to live free in a democracy. He isn't killing Americans, no matter who is president, we will be at war for a while. The people who are dying are sacrificing their lives, its the commitment they made to join the military, they weren't forced to, but in the Vietnam era, thats when they were actually killing americans. And the Iraqis that die are insurgents who step in US path, or citizens being massacred by insurgents..

i was 7 when it happened, and i used to live in toronto then, in a 44 storey condominium building. i was scared as shit to go to sleep so my parents and i spent the night at a hotel.last summer i went to nyc to ground zero. it was chilling.
