yo justblazeDR, cage's "schtick" isn't that he was a crazy white guy with a crazy ex-girl and baby momma drama. where does that come up in any of his tracks? chris raps about his abusive H addict step dad and his own struggles with every substance known to mankind and his time commited to a mental hosipital (stoney lodge). cage's songs may not be as prophetic as Aes or Sage Francis, but his spit is quick and his punchlines are haymakers. either way cages lyrics are too heavy for eminem to hold

I too am a white rapper, and I fuckin idolize both Cage and Shady.. I think Eminem is a better and more accessible lyricist, with funnier punchlines than Cage. However, it's clear that Eminem borrowed heavily from Cage's image, and Cage is less diluted and more hardcore than Shady... Cage is so fuckin bizzare and creative and his songs are more disturbing than Shady's... "I kill tricks and i don't do magic" that's great... like he murders women and it's a pun for magic tricks...

I don't agree, at least not with rhyme style. Cage's style is more like a laid back Nas. Em watered down Nas style. Where Nas would use heavy internal rhymes in two lines, Em extended it to four lines and watered it down. Either way, I like Cage too. Actually, have you heard of a dude name Milkbone? He was big in the mid-90's..did a song called "keepin' it real." He was actually pretty good. I do think Cage is awesome.

Fuck you, moron. Em's style sucks. His shit sounds like Special Ed's last verse on "I got it made" back in 1989. The sad thing is, that Ed was using it as a pop hook back then. Ed normally rapped w/ the complexity of Rakim. You're just another dick rider!
