That was not a bump! Runge did bait the guy but we can't hear all Beltram said to Runge before he took his mask off. The ejection was warranted. Beltram is just not smart enough to know he got baited and then ejected!!

I AM NOT A METS FAN but, Runge should've been suspended for several games for his actions. It is clear that he deliberately bumped Jerry and Jerry had every right to be upset and get in his face-I was hoping Jerry would've smacked him and knocked him on his azz, along with the goading of Beltran. It was very coward like of an umpire to act as he did and seek protection behind his authority on the field.
I sure hope other umpires learn from this incident.

I'm an umpire and this guy, Runge, is an absolute disgrace. Anything short of a complete apology and admission that he was out of line in bumping a manager is unacceptable.
He should be ashamed - he has ruined the reputation of hard working umpires who care more about the game than about looking good and showing who's boss.
