Tenor F.Tenelli performs live
ITALIAN; Nessun dorma! Nessun dorma!
Dilegua, o notte! Tramontate, stelle! Tramontate, stelle! All'alba vincero! vincero, vincero! ENGLISH None must sleep! None must sleep! And you, too, Princess, in your cold room, gaze at the stars which tremble with love
and hope! But my mystery is locked within me, no-one shall know my name! No, no, I shall say it as my mouth meets yours when the dawn is breaking! And my kiss will break the silence which makes you mine! (No-one shall know his name, and we, alas, shall die!) Vanish, o night! Fade, stars! At dawn
I shall win ACT III. In a palace garden, Calàf hears a proclamation: on pain of death, no one in Peking shall sleep until Turandot learns the stranger's name. The prince muses on his impending joy; but Ping, Pang and Pong try unsuccessfully to bribe him to withdraw. As the fearful mob threatens C
alàf with drawn daggers to learn his name, soldiers drag in Liù and Timur. Horrified, Calàf tries to convince the mob that neither knows his secret. When Turandot appears, commanding the dazed Timur to speak, Liù cries out that she alone knows the stranger's identity. Though tortured, she remain
s silent. Impressed by such endurance, Turandot asks Liù's secret; "Love," the girl replies. When the princess signals the soldiers to intensify the torture, Liù snatches a dagger from one of them and kills herself. The grieving Timur and the crowd follow her body as it is carried away. Turandot r
emains alone to confront Calàf, who at length takes her in his arms, forcing her to kiss him. Knowing physical passion for the first time, Turandot weeps. The prince, now sure of his victory, tells her his name. As the people hail the emperor, Turandot approaches his throne, announcing that the s
tranger's name is - Love. Puccini(1858-1924) Turandot Premiere(Milano April 25,1926) Original Calaf(in New York) G.Lauri-Volpi

Somebody here calls you a light lyric voice. It so funny after what I've heard. It's so obvious that you are a real dramatic or a lyrico-spinto tenor. Bravo Franco! Very impressive!

It is true that Pavarotti is, or was a bigger, more powerful voice; but this, for sheer beauty of voice--- for the glory of the singing--- no one can match this. Bravo!

I don't think it's professional to compare voices power by simply listening to recorded materials.
I never heard Tenelli live but according to his postings he's clearly spinto-tenore. Pavarotti is a true Italian Donizetti-Bellini tenor and nor so powerful in Opera performances. Yes he sounds quite big when he sings concerts in microphones.

It's strange that you are comparing two incomparable things:real opera singer style and popular versions of Paul Pots
Pavarotti is a giant,Paul just a talanted amateur, nothing againts him but it's like comparing...well since you even put Paul's name before Pavarotti's it sais a lot to me:)
Are you serious? ... ( 1 year ago by eddyarias2)
Are you serious? Paul Potts is a skank, he could never ever perform at a opera, he can barely sing Nessun Dorma and his Italian pronunciation sucks. I don't know how people can even see Pott's videos and expecting to hear some opera.

I heard this tenor live in Bergen, his voice is as big as 3 tenors together and very beautiful, unlike most of the dramatic tenors he can sing legato and do pianissimi
exceptional voice.
Bravo
