There is an article about it in Enertainment weekly about it. My understanding it that the climatic event is changed to a more present based event if you have read the comics you will understand. They are also trying to see if the director can cut it down to 2 hours 25 min, personally I hope he doesn't

Unfortunately not, there lies my ignorance. However, solely going from this trailer... it SEEMS like a poor movie, a re-hash of every comic hero film Ive seen over the past 10 years. I hope i am wrong.
