By the way I have a cover showing how I played it on my other videos... but here it is again (Guitar)
Chords used: G, D, EM7, Cadd9
Howie Day's Collide Acoustic is Capo 3.
First G chord, hit the top string twice. Then down up down up down up down
Then you go down to a D chord. The D chord you can use variations. Howie makes different noise by either moving his finger off the 2nd fret last string or By adding his pinky finger onto the 3rd fret last string.
Then EM7 chord. Remember same strumming pattern throughout the song except the bridge.
After EM7 you use Cadd9 Chord. If you want to make the noise that Howie makes in the song just hammer the Cadd9 Chord (like how i do in the video)
The Bridge is EM7, Cadd9, D.
You can either strum it, or pluck it, whatever your preference is. Basically just put this together and you can play Collide.
