sure, people in this country have the freedom to choose what faith they believe, or freedom to not believe in any faith. we need that freedom. but the only one who is delusional is you if you think this country doesn't have a Christian foundation on which many US laws are built on.
if you need to, have a look at many, many national landmarks created 150-200 years ago. they specifically cite a reverance to the Biblical God. read documents and speeches from that era as well.

Sure, no argument there. Our laws and judicial decisionsdid have a founding in Christianity. However, those laws are applicable to all religions. Don't kill, steal, etc, etc. These are merely codes by which civil societies live. The fact that the Bible enforced them (by stoning--the prefered method of the old testament) was simply a way to control the primitive Israelites, who were worshipping false idols and going insane in the desert. All I'm saying is that we need to move past superstition.

your a fucking moron if you think this country has a Christan foundation. Most of our founding fathers were not Christan. In fact many of them believed in ideas that had nothing to do with Christianity, pick up any American History book on the founding fathers and you would know that to be true. The closest thing to Christan law is catholic law and most catholic laws came from ole pagan Roman beliefs. Read some history before you make shit up!

Those landmark documents frequently make reference to God, NOT the god of Abraham. The Founding Fathers were NOT all Christian. Most were Deists.

Adams, Paine, and Franklin had a great deal of contempt for the bible. Jefferson's bible contained only the four gospels and excluded the rest. He himself despised the clergy.

Thats messed up i love "Go Ask Alice" its the best book I have ever read, there is nothing wrong with it.
