I've never heard of any north american rally driver or rally car. For an american, racing is turning 300 laps on a dull oval track waiting for them to crash, or stomp on the gas for 1/4 mile. Ha ha
Watch and learn!

I live in Canada, home of the Canadian Rally Championship. The top drivers are Canadian. I understand why you think an oval track is dull. But in 1987 they ran around 210 miles per hour on a banked oval, around 30 degrees of banking. They race this fast with an inch or two between the car's. Travis Pastrana is American and in the WRC. Ashley Force (American, age 25) drove a 7000 horsepower Car 0-324 mph in 4.49 seconds. The Ford focus and RS200 are American:RS200 was the fastest accelerating car

Travis Pastrana is in the WRC. There is a Canadian Rally Championship that I watch on tv all the time, it is dominated by Canadian Driver's.
The ford focus, escort, and RS200 are all American Rally car's. The RS200 was the fastest accelerating production car for a long time. 450hp from a 2 liter engine. Ashley Force, an american Woman, age 25, went 0-324 mph in 4.49 seconds. 1987 nascar speed record: 212mph.They race on 30 degree banke

No, no. The focus wrc, escort and rs200 are european rally cars. They were developed by Ford Europe. Nothing to do with Ford America. I'm am not impressed by thoses figures. I bet if they had use an F-18 engine they would go even faster. As I said, stomp on the gas in a straight or an oval circuit is not driving. Rallying is pure and real driving, and it's made in europe

Canada was originally on the WRC tour until our Quebec rally became our national rally.
