thats my point. him not fighting cotto or margo has nothing to do with why he's not considered SRL-HAGLER-DURAN great.
and i have followed that division. actually, i was a bigger zab fan than floyd. i didnt start liking floyd, till he beat zab. but how was margo considered the top guy @47? who did he beat to warrant that? 6head lewis? cintron? that made him the man?

I had a chance to see Wu at their pinnacle! Summer 97 with rage against the machine. Wu-Tang forever just dropped a couple of months earlier. When we entered the parking lot, everybody entering the arena was chanting WU Tang, Wu Tang. This was hours before the show started. The vibe was incredible! Sleep

He was ducked big time by the MAN at WW who was Mayorga - a freakin lunatic. That spoke alot about Marg. Zab wasnt even in the picture till later on. Mayorga then lost to Spinks in an not so great decission who then lost to Zab. Margaritto's name was out there in the ww division for alot of boxing fans before Zab or Spinks was in the picture.
And I apologize if I misread your point.
