| ok, i really dont think you have any fuckin clue what the movie, or the remote control was about. the remte was meerly a peice of symbolism. it wasnt "magic" This whole movie is intended to mock the audience and show them in fact how much they actually enjoy watching horrific acts. When they "rewind" its becuase if they didnt, the movie would have went the way the audience wanted it to. justice would have been served. but when dealing with physcos, good doesnt always prevail like we wish |

| I'm not really sure about the violence in media theory. When I watched it, I felt it was a metaphor for how filthy rich people are and how purely animalistic their greed is and how it consumes them and ultimately kills them. I mean, the boys motivations weren't ever clear, just like how it doesn't make any sense for rich people to strive to gain more and more... |
