Rufus Wainwright performs Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" in Niagara Square, in front of Buffalo's City Hall, on July 3, 2004. Recorded with the video mode of a Kodak DX6490 EasyShare camera by my girlfriend. The camera does have a great 10x optical zoom, but she also went and stood very close to th
e outdoor stage. In fact, at 1:26 you can hear her tell someone else in the crowd (who was complaining that she was standing there so long) "I'm recording," and at that moment Rufus looks right at her! Thanks everybody for watching, and come check out my other videos!

Plays the song like a speeding train, he keeps a constant speedy tempo of almost 130 bpm, and has no expression in his voice what so ever, makes the song devoid of soul be cause as expressive as the words are he does nothing with them. Kind of sad :(

I commented on this a long time ago and it's still goin' strong. This vid was actuaaly my inspiration to go out amongst 'em and shoot videos. I think of this before every video starts filming. I posted my first good video below, different genre and not of this quality but you sure can see how this great great great vid of this great great great performance influenced me. The firts thing to do is find something great to film!!
