| Well....lunchboxgarcia, Stafford missed completely on the shot. Mind you I was a Barons fan. But, Stafford Missed, bottom line. The bad thing is that a retaliation shot is more often seen then an initial shot. Either way, Perezhogin was out of line and the Barons deserved to score twice off of that power play. LET'S GO MONSTERS!!!! |

| Actually, Stafford's the one at fault here. It's just because Perezhogin's stick facial hit was the main part of the story. Stafford cross-checked Perezhogin in the face, and then tried to swing his stick at his head, but it hit the back of his helmet. Then Perezhogin retaliated by swinging his stick at Stafford's face. |

I agree Perezhogin was WAY out of the line, but if they banned Perezhogin a season, they should have banned Stafford too for good measure. He's the one who missed his head with a swing of his own, but because he missed he's suddenly the good guy ? Bad decision from Stafford, Perezhogin, and the league. |

| Would have been cleared of all charges. It would have been a case of self defense. If Stafford connect on his own slash, it would have been Perezhogin doing the bacon on the ice. Self defense mention that you retaliate in a appropriate matter to a threat to you. He responded with the exact same attemps. Before you say he wasn't hit, think about a guy shooting at you with a gun, but he miss. Whatever you do would be acceptable because he did try to shoot you. |
