| thats what im saying, im guessing that no one would be noticable to the viewers because locke is just as old as anyone thats a part of the others, so they just put richard in there just to show that they were following locke form the start. |

| The fact that they hesitated to chose the character in the coffin is in some ways a spoiler because it means the character doesn't matter, what wouldn't be the case if an actor had chosen to leave the show, so I think it's not too presumptuous to suppose that Locke is probably still alive. |

| You missed the point. These endings were filmed so that the production people couldn't leak out the ending, as it could have been any of them. It was always going to be Locke though. |
