| 9/11?...the war on terrorism is, or was, in Afghanistan, & now Pakistan border areas(which Bush has agreed to leave alone). Iraq was enemies with our terrorist enemies & never supported them. You're loosing the war against terror as the Bush administration is more interested in it's 'Democracy by Force' campaign in Iraq(terrorism by definition). WW2 was primarily about fighting fascism. The American right is using fascist ideas of nationalism to attack anybody who disagrees with them. |

Current members: Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Libya, Algeria, Nigeria, Angola, Venezuela, Ecuador, Indonesia. OPEC has one aim - to keep oil prices high and sell oil at high prices. Members have opposed one another to the point of war - Iran and Iraq, for example. The members' total military strength is less than that of many European nations. Their only real weapon is oil. |

| Keith is remarkable. Just a fair, unbiased journalist if I've ever seen one. Nice guy, too. Thick skinned and high self esteem, not having to make fun of Republicans or Fox News. | Conservatives like to compare WW2 to the war in Iraq. I wish it were more like WW2! In that war, when the Brits realized Chamberlain was the wrong man for the job, they got rid of his sorry ass and brought in the right one. Bush is our Chamberlain, incompetent and inadequate for the great task ahead. One thing I'll say for Chamberlain though, when Germany broke its treaty at least he didn't attack France.
