Jeezo, and I thought this was a pretty damn good rendition... you guys underrate Ripper imo. He's great - perhaps a poor match for Iced Earth but virtually no other singer I can think of could come close to doing this song justice. Not even Halford..

Poor Tim... He did great with the high notes but he doesn't have the power of Matt... He can't hit those low baritone notes... And I don't think he could get into the state of mind to feel the lyrics... I think that's why the more soulful parts of the song were a little lacking... I also didn't really like him in JP... I like his other stuff though... He had really big shoes to fill twice... OUCH!!!

As much as I likes Owens' voice when he was still in Iced Earth, the fact that this song was made for Barlow and not him clearly affects his performance. He does okay on the high notes, but Barlow's lows are quite hard to match - and Ripper simply can't go that low.
It's a good song, but I'm fairly sure Barlow does it a whole lot better.
