man... all the lead singers of my favorite bands when i was a kid got reeeeeeally really fat - the cure, echo and the bunnymen, new order, etc. even I am getting fat. damn!

Actually, I think they sound better since they got back together in the late 90's. Ian's voice has character now. Growing up in the 80's I never liked bands like this because the singers all sounded drone (except for PiL), now they sound great. The late 90's Echo beats the 80's hands down.

I perfer is voice in the 80s however he is still pretty good. A few notes he couldn't hit but big flippin deal. He is 20 years older, do you know what 20 years does? A whole freaking lot. As for him being fat he is not fat. He has a double chin but he is not fat. He looks to have actually maintained better than most men his age.
