can i offer you my mpst sincere congratulations that you managed to stay on your own side of the road all the way through the video. You see far too many videos of idiots here on youtube, flying round blind corners on the other side of the road and they end up a hood ornament on someones car. It takes far more skill to stay on just one lane than to be wandering about all over the road. Well done.

I rode yesterday 5/17 Saturday. WOW this was cool! The turns are tighter than the video shows. I was in 2nd gear most of the run.
I like the camera guys in the corners. Then you can buy shots of yourself on there websites.I took it careful first run and then I found my grove 2nd run.I ride a Honda CBR 1000 rr. They have a nice snack bar and gift shop too. I live about one hour away. Just moved here a month ago. I'm gonna love this riding. Take care guys be safe.

your welcome. i meet a group from Germany riding the Dragon this weekend. They were riding big bikes, a little to big and heavy for this road.

An 06 FZ1, stock everything. Have an 07 CBR1000 track bike with lots more ground clearance. That was the limiting factor on the FZ1 at that pace. Still have the FZ1 but a motard will probably be my next Gap bike.

I live not far from there, it's way over rated it's not the only twisty two lane road around here just the most famous. I can think of a lot more fun roads to ride that have way less problems with cops. Local cops really have no jurisdiction & should not even be on it, it's also a federal road & state troopers have no right to be on it either.

yeah i've seen better roads up there but they are all still just a 'road'. its a fun road for what it is and there is a little bit of civilization within reach. i haven't been up there since, not really the greatest riding if you consider the attention.
