You're probably wrong about Jews. The Khazars converted to Judaism in 740 AD when the rest of Europe was converting to Christianity. Russian archaologists just this week found significant remains of the Khazar empire. At least 90% of people calling themselves Jewish today are probably of Khazar origin. The genetic tests haven't been done yet.

Maybe you can ask those who make school curricula. I don't. One thing, though. The "logic" of true minimizers is that all these other genocides somehow make genocide as such, and particularly genocide of Jews, acceptable. I was about to say, it's because Americans want people to go along with their policies. If children are taught about how much the Jews suffered throughout history they will be much more willing to go along with the USA giving Israel weapons and aid. It's quite simple.
