| Goonies 1 was only released in Japan. I remember in the 80's wondering why the video game was called Goonies 2 and there was no Goonies 1. The general consensus back then was that the game was called Goonies2because the movie was Goonies and the game was supposed to be a sequel to the movie. Then I heard that there really was a Goonies 1 game but it was only released in Japan. Kind of like how The Lost Levels was known as Super Mario 2 in Japan and the U.S. Super Mario2 is really Doki Doki Panic |
