that vibrato in koss's solos is tuff isnt it i always have fun and trouble playing or improvising over his solos but if i do improvise i alwasy include a MONSTROUS amount of vibrato in honor of the great paul kossoff excellent job covering an excellent guitar player

Nice job on the solo! Good Vibrato! Paul Kossoff was a great guitarist. Shame he died so young. Is that a reissue Standard? It has a nice tone!

solodallas you pretty much have it down, its a great tune one that i always noodled around with..nice job!!great tone too thats 1/2 the battle. Paul Kossoff was so great so young, reminds me of Duane Allman in that they both died so young
showed so much promise, it's always boggled my mind to think how great Duane would have grown to be, he was one of the best at 24, Eric was a fan ,as so many others, no one could touch him on slide, no one what tone.what feel..it was inspiring to listen to.

Gonna get my Les Paul out after watching that! :) I played this many moons ago and still love it. The notes are easy enough for even a rookie to play, but it takes something else to play it with feeling and make it cook. You have that 'gift' for sure.

yes koss did in fact use Orange amps before he went to Marshalls. You can get pretty close to the orange amp tone with an old Hiwatt. They sound quite close to Orange amps because they both have those big ol' Partridge transformers. Great to see Free fans on youtube!

i had an old hiwatt cab 4 x 12
i use to hook up my mesa combo to it
boy did that baby sing espec w/ all 5 speakers going at once. i don't know if the imped was messed,but it did sound great
i only did it as a test otherwise i would play just the combo or i would disconnect the combo speaker
play the hiwatt cab..boy do i miss that cab
that mesa combo..why do i sell all my best equipment..people think twice before you sell your precious gear..i regret selling just about everything.
