Hey MCR is a good band and they have an extreme dislike for being labeled as an emo band. Emo's are just poseurs anyway. Its manufactured rebellions who are purely chickenshit conformists.

Ya it was David J, the bassist who dislikes the term. Like people label themselves goth but like don't even listen to gothic rock/post-punk at all. Just industrial. And the early oth subcutlure was called darkwave not goth.

Yeah same with the Sisters of Mercy, they were one of the founders of that dark atmospheric music that heavily influenced goth but they try to distance themselves from that label

I guess I wasn't clear about it. I meant that it looked like it wouldn't be incredibly hard for someone who is already proficient at playing guitar. I know that if I tried it, I wouldn't be able to play it, because I don't play guitar, so me trying it and posting a comment like, "Oh my god, it's so impossible to play!" wouldn't be at all helpful. Sorry if I've offended anyone.
