She also paid the steep price everyone pays who wants to reject societal norms. So, if YOU want to be that way, why not 'rock' your own way? It takes courage... and you'll feel the pain throughout life. But, if thats what YOU want, show us all how :) Truth is, though, it accomplishes nothing for the individual. As the video pointed out, she died ALONE and her career was brief.

I wish all music videos were like this, well made. I don't like to associate images with music-unless it's the band that created it- there are countless great songs with very bad music videos made for them, this OMD video is an exception, it deserves an award for art and concept
