| i dont think there is a way to save it perminently unless you install backtrack 3 on your harddrive and dual boot. or if you want you could try instead of clicking "power off " try clicking "suspend" . it should leave backtrack the way it is but it will take some time to start up. |

| thanks a lot for the tutorial it worked great, only problem was my password was 128 bit so the -n 64 option just made it run up to a million ivs before i realized i needed to take out the -n64 option then it cracked right away. |

| VMWare does have problems with USB recognition with some of the workstation products. I suggest you use Sun's VirtualBox--it does a good job and yeah it's free. |
