| If I didn't find it funny, I wouldn't have bought his Far Side collection books. What I was referring to was his notes in his 10th anniversary book about mixing talking animals with humans. Anyways, while his humor was absurd, it didn't try to even pretend for humor's sake that anything was accurate. My philosophy is that if you're going to be absurd, you should go all out, or only do so where the humor is dependant on it. Otherwise it detracts from the entire joke. |
