| A little too sensual if you ask me. I'm aware of the artisitic elements of the film but still I'm not gonna keep watching someting just cause of that. I can't help but think that this film although good, is alittle too stimulating and sensual, kinda like me grabbing my crotch moaning in the dessert with the wind blowing in my hair while magical seahorses are flying and singing. |

| Far too softened by Hollywood's need to put hazy music over all love scenes just because producers are embarrassed by sexuality. This scene would have been 10 times more powerful without that damn soft-porn music. And Mark Dacascos doesn't have the charisma for this character even if he has the physique. Very weak action-film execution, as well. |

| Well, I wasn't expecting this! Long, long ago I had the graphic novels, and the animated movie in Japanese on VHS. Both are no longer in my collection. So when doing a search here I expected to see clips from the animated movie... not a live action film. Alrighty then, it's off to Netflix. I hope they have it. |

| Actually, the movie deviated a lot from the manga. Other than westernizing some key characters (namely Emu and Nitta), the film had Freeman declared expendable by the Dragons (where as the manga and anime had him as a valuable asset, despite the mistakes he made). |

| Unfortunately, this film never saw a U.S. release. Mark Dacascos himself once announced it was to be released by a subsidiary of Universal, but it never happened. Your best luck is on eBay. |
