Little film of some of my friends which I shot on an old cine camera at Highcliff, England in the summer of 2005. Once the film was processed I decided to edit it on the computer and this song by Nina Simone seemed to work so well with the footage. Please let me know what you think, all comments greatly welcomed!

I happened upon your video while looking for this song. I rarely bother to watch people's home vids, but this was something really special. Lovely, lovely, lovely. Really brought back memories of my own evenings on the beach with friends, and that sense of nostalgia and knowing that that was a special moment. Thanks for sharing this!

It was a song written for a musical (and performed by Gilbert Price, I think), which was then covered by some dude I forget the name of, then this cover was made. The original is pretty different though, and most other covers match this version more than the original.

Thanks! I googled the song + Gilbert Price and found a wikipedia entry for the song. In part, it says that ""Feeling Good" (aka Feelin' Good) is a song written by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse for the 1965 musical The Roar of the Greasepaint
—the Smell of the Crowd and since covered by several artists, including Muse, Nina Simone, Sammy Davis Jr, Eels, Michael Bublé, The Pussycat Dolls and, most recently, George Michael for his 2008 album, "Twenty Five"." The Pussycat Dolls???? Yueeeck!

i really like the video, before the brass kicks in it suits the film really well, after that it's too powerful, in my humble opinion, would love to see the film with some other music over it, not sure what right now. great work though love the cine
