Auf jeden Fall. Tincup has no idea. Of course she does. Her English is great, but when I first saw/heard her in Troy I was left wondering: where does that actress come from? Her accent isn't 100%, although (und hier das kleine Trostpflaster) she certainly doesn't sound German ... Just like that last Bond girl: a great 99%-English accent, but I immediately had the character down as a foreign agent (although she in fact wasn't!). How can movie producers make mistakes like this?

And culturally speaking: the way she laughs - genuinely - about the moronic host's "don't get carried away" comment shows that she's not a native English-speaker. What American, Australian or Brit would find that funny? Nix f
