Seven years after the removal of the Taliban, Afghanistan is still beset by security problems.
  Since then, girls who were banned from school under the previous regime have been able to return to their studies.   But now Taliban attacks have forced many schools to close. Dan Nolan reports.

The huge issue with the Taliban is they represent the antithesis of Islam. The Qur'an does not deny education to women, and Muhammad's own wives were well educated and engaged in active employment. Let us not forget that it was Muhammad's first wife that supported him financially.
