indeed but a thing i've noticed is that people generally make fun of him because he's fatter than others. it would have been totally different if he was average weight, this image makes him look like what people would call "a star-wars-fan-nerd-with-glasses", that's probably why he's embarrassed.

Dude, no one outside from frequent Youtubers and Internet-dwellers even cares about Star Wars Kid, I mean, I'm a nerd, so it's not like I don't know the feeling. But this kid didn't derserve $300,000 for it, people at the first school would know about it for a bit. But everywhere else only like 2% of the people care, and those would probably be nerds.

I hear that he has become very successful because of the star wars kid craze. He now owns two mini malls, He is the owner of two small fast food chains and he is the CEO of a large corporation in chicago. Pretty good for someone who was simply making a lightsaber video.
