Yah, reminds me much of freddy mercury whose range was estimated at a bit over 3 octaves which is definetely amazing. and as to the gay question it sounds like hes writing about a girl but then again often times so did freddy. Amazing voice and good technique, surprised its live doesnt sound much like it.
