| LT is the best player I ever saw on a football field since 1984 or 85, and yes that includes Lewis and Merriman. LT's better. That being said, I never saw Butkus play, nor Bednarik (only highlights). But I think that it's very difficult to compare those legendary linebackers because of the era they played in. | I am a 49ers fan and def hated the Giants in those mid 80's and early 90's rivalry games.. But LT, (the real LT) is the greatest Linebacker ever!!!! Just plain and simple a beast!!! He changed the way the position was played and I cringe when I hear people compare the Merrimans of today to this guy... Not even close in my eyes... |
