you are so wrong. one mccain will not be another bush. and he is better than obama and he is better for democrats in the long run. and the only reason hillary didn't get the nomination this time around was because of barack obama. hillary has had more people vote for her than any candidate in primary history. regean didn't get the nomination in 76 but he became pres in 1980

Yes , And Al gore didn't get the nomination in 1988, did get Clinton's vice presidency in 1992 but he has been defeated by Bush in 2000. There are A LOT of exemple like this one. Your long term Strategy is reckless and only helps Republicans to maintain themselves in the white house.
In addition to that ... ( 3 months ago by vannallen)
In addition to that, even if a lot of people voted for her within the democrat party, it doesn't mean that she has a better chance to get elected. Because a lot of people (Especially independent and republican voters) really don't want a Clinton to get back to the white house. Bill-Hillary have been there during 8 years, they don't want Hillary-Bill for 4 more years. It will be hard for her to ever be elected because of that.

wow. lol that is a horrible excuse. look at the states obama won. all those states he won't win in the general election. obama is going to need to win every single state hillary won. he will win the traditional dem states but not the swing states. and the comment about independent and rep voters. um in case you haven't noticed in recent polls in the swing states hillary haswon the independent vote. even tho early on obama had won it. independents like mccain and will vote mccain over obama

and i am a clinton supporter but i am not a woman. i am a 18 year old man. and clinton can win those republican votes. because those conservative democrats(who have voted republican in many of the last presidential elections) they will vote for clinton over mccain. but they will vote mccain over obama. she has strength and a coalition to win

?? I don't know if you've noticed but she conceded and endorsed Obama 3 weeks ago ?? The U.S are a democracy, so if you feel that voting for McCain = voting for Clinton, well... do whatever you want. And let's welcome 4 more years of Bush in the White house. You've got very right to be a republican supporter and to believe that the U.S are going in the right direction.
the only reason she ... ( 3 months ago by itsasin702)
the only reason she conceded is because she knew even though she won the popular vote and the americans selected her that even if she took it to the convention obama would still be selected. but the reason she stayed in the race is because she knew she was the strongest candidate and obama can't win. she endorsed him so no one blames her for his defeat in November. if it is perceived she is the reason why obama lost her political future could be damaged. which would keep her from running in 2012
You should watch ... ( 3 months ago by vannallen)
You should watch this video: watch?v=LVrd6HwpIbk If you listen to Eisenhower's Grand daughter (Which is a life time republican supporter). It will make you understand that Republicans and independents really don't want the Clinton family to ever get back to the white house. You can dream of 2012 but even if she gets the momination, she will really have a hard time to win the general election (It will be almost impossible for her).
you have no ... ( 3 months ago by itsasin702)
you have no evidence to support that it would be impossible for her to win. If you look at facts like primary state victories you will see Hillary has what it takes to defeat any Republican. She has won states totaling 330 electoral votes. Also electoral polls show she could kill John McCain in a landslide while he and Obama are in a dead heat! Why with 2 unpopular wars, an economy in crisis, and the republican president that we have would the dem nominee and rep nominee be in a dead heat?
All you say are ... ( 3 months ago by vannallen)
All you say are just speculations, the fact is that Obama won the process to get the democratic nomination. In the end, i really don't care who is the democratic nominee (i think that all of the democratic candidates were a better choice than McCain-Bush) , if hillary had won, i would have supported her, if it was Edwards, i would have supported him. I just hope that the U.S and the whole planet won't suffer another 4 more years of the McCain-Bush administration.
he won without ... ( 3 months ago by itsasin702)
he won without winning the popular vote and without winning the required amount of delegates. super-delegates just supported him because of nacy pelosi. but if you wish for the country to not endure 4 more years of republican rule you should have wished hillary to be the nominee. she is the electable candidate. obama isn't. the party is blind and wants him and they think under the circumstances any democrat can win. that is an entirely inaccurate assumption.
There is a ... ( 3 months ago by vannallen)
There is a nomination process in the Democratic Party (WITH RULES TO RESPECT, it's not about winning the popular vote, but about winning a certain amount of delegates). The fact is that, this year, Obama won it. In case of a Clinton victory, if all Obama supporters had the same attitude than the one you seem to have, Clinton wouldn't have stand a chance neither to win the general election. Haven't you ever heard about the "party unification process" which comes after the "nomination process" ??
This nomination ... ( 3 months ago by vannallen)
This nomination process is actually the same than the one used in the general election, for example, In 2000, AlGore won the popular vote but the one who ended up in the white house is M. Bush, you may like it or not, but this election system is the base of the U.S constitution.
If you're unhappy ... ( 3 months ago by vannallen)
If you're unhappy with how the U.S constitution is written, send a letter to M. Bush and the U.S Congress asking them to re- write the constitution so the one who wins the popular vote gets the nomination of his party and the general election.
the general ... ( 3 months ago by itsasin702)
the general election is based on the constitution. primary elections are used to find the strongest candidate. and the popular vote is manifestly relevant to that cause that hillary is the strongest candidate. the ge and the dem party are nothing alike. under GE rules hillary would have been the nominee on feb 5. so she is the strongest candidate. the party just believes that any democrat can win so they selected him. well i and many other hillary supporters will be voting john mccain.

As I said before, do whatever you want, I couldn't care less. I'm not even part of the Obama campaign. Some people won't vote for a candidate for some shallow reasons like "McCain is too old..., Obama is Black-man.... , Clinton is a woman....". Well, your shallow reason is: "I'm unhappy that Clinton didn't win the democratic nomination process".
I don't have a ... ( 3 months ago by itsasin702)
I don't have a shallow reason for not supporting Obama. As I have said before I think his lack of any serious political experience would ultimately hinder the democratic party in the long term. If he screws up, the party will be blamed, setting the stage for years of republican rule. Also Obama is connected with various shady people. His remarks against Hillary Clinton's Iran/Israel policy deeply disturb me. I can't vote for someone I do not in any way trust. I don't think those are shallow.

!YAY! Let's keep going with Bush's Economic policy, !YAY! Let's start another war with Iran, !YAY! Let's stay and keep dying in Iraq for 100 years. ALL for McCain 08 so Clinton can "maybe, one day" win the democratic nommination process. And if she doesn't win it in 2012, it will be all for "Jeb BUSH 2012" ! YAY !. LOL :)

I had this dream, and in the dream a voice asked me to stop eating beans, 'cause it would be the end of the world. "How is that?" I asked the voice. It answered and said his planet was located on a molecule near my butt and if I farted his whole world would blow up. "What's your name" I asked. The voice in my dream answered, "In my world we only have numbers. Mine is 2012." Woah dude! SPOOKY! Which makes me wonder about volcanoes...
