2) What if you need energy now ie. a road trip. You are going to drive 40 miles and charge for six hrs each time? Come on. It is more economical with the engine.
And that is the tip of the iceberg. We are not ready for full electric yet. As much as we want to ditch gasoline bad, don't let it cloud your vision and logic. We ARE ready for a car like the volt. We ARE NOT ready for a full EV.

soline cars. we are going backwards in technology, instead of forwards, we need an electric car. the technology is here, but we're not using it.
It will take quite a while to switch to EV hybrid as a start, that is certain. Many will stick with gas, especially if it gets cheaper.
As for Tesla, absolutely true. But why? Maybe we have the technology. Why are we not driving Teslas and why are we not using the technology that is here? The pricetag of the Tesla Roadster says it all. GM scrapped the EV1 car to protect company secrets utilized in it, as well as it being comp
