Juanita Bynum Divorce Court Part Three

Uploaded by: PrinceJohn757
Video Description:
The entertainment continues as Ms. Bynum profits from what should be a tragedy in any family -- divorce. Since when does going through a divorce become a springboard for "success?" This is so sad. I wonder if Paula and Randy are going to ask for cameos now?
Is it appropriate to provide advice to a troubled couple when you are one half of a troubled couple yourself? This is simply too irresponsible.

What if he had killed her? What if you were married to a man that beat you every night? Would you follow the bible and stay in the marriage?

Answer your own Lavinder11 as I've made my points quite clear (otherwise you wouldn't be asking me).
I wasn't asking ... ( 1 month ago by lavinder11)
I wasn't asking about what is written in the bible, I was asking what would YOU do. Could you justify staying in an abusive marriage with a passage from the bible? Do you think that while Jesus taught unconditional love he told women to "tough it out" if they were getting their butts kicked by their husbands? Would god himself reward you after you're dead for being pious and hanging in there? I'd say he'd be disappointed that you had lived a life wasted - life being a gift he gave us.
I was taught ... ( 1 month ago by lavinder11)
I was taught tolerance and love for ALL people, yet I see "whore of Babylon" and "she's getting what she deserves" by so-called Christians. This is a woman talking about her experience as a battered wife. I know nothing else about besides what you all say about her here. Why are we so arrogant to automatically doubt someone who claims to be a messenger. Like I said, I know nothing about it. I just find these hateful comments astonishing and disheartening - especially coming from Christians.
My answer plainly, ... ( 1 month ago by mokamoka79)
My answer plainly, I would do what was written in the Bible. I grew up where my folks beat each other black and blue but at the time, neither of them knew Christ.
From that experience and knowing my temprement, I have decided not to marry. If it is God's will for me to marry, I will pray and use my own common sense and judgement to ensure I do not wind up with an abusive man. If God forbid, this should occur, we would nip it in the bud on the first hit.
Now you're being ... ( 1 month ago by lavinder11)
Now you're being ambiguous. What does nip it in the bud mean? And if you don't mean getting a divorce, but working it out and making him get classes or whatnot, what if he hits you again? This happened in a family that supposedly knew god, and yet he still (and she, according to you guys) did the wrong thing. I'm just trying to point at that most of the comments on this video are not rational. They are kind of hypocritical and emphasize the reason why most people don't like Christians.

"nip in the bud" as in sort it out. Please don't generalise all "Christians" by my personal comments.
From my first comment here, my fustration was at Juanita for declaring herself as a "prophetess" but almost "promoting" divorce which God is against (except for reasons of sexual immorality). How can anyone call themselves a "Christian" if they customise the Bible and only agree with some verses
and not others or none at all?
I wasn't ... ( 1 month ago by lavinder11)
I wasn't generalizing all Christians just by your comments. I was speaking about most of these comments and how it turns outsiders off on Christianity. You wonder how anyone can call themselves a Christian if they customize the bible? Think about who wrote it. Do you think they put nothing but the truth in it? It wasn't written by god himself; it was written by men. I'm sure good intentions were involved, but you can't ignore that Christianity had an awful past. Some of those writers and--

And from what I heard in this interview, she wasn't promoting divorce. According to her, she stuck it out and tried to work with it. But what's a person to do when someone doesn't want to change?
Array ( 1 month ago by mokamoka79)
Lavinder11
First off - if "the people" who wrote the Bible "customised it" then why on earth would "they" then condem themselves to hell in doing so?
Second - the Bible itself says that beleivers will turn away many from Christ from their behaviour. Third - from your comments, I don't know whether or not you're a Christian, but if so - don't concentrate on the bad image SOME people are giving the Church and work out your own salvation with fea
r and trembling. God bless.

You will never understand the essence of this discourse without knowing or valuing the truth of the sacred texts.

In response to your last posting - I answered all of your questions. Which one did I ignore "completly"? I'd rather be a "bird" and follow Christ and find out it wasn't true in the end, then believe in nothing and find out it was true. I enjoy my life very, very much - working out my own salvati
on, trying my best to make it to heaven - fearing God and not compromising my faith by being misled by "preachers" who choose which Bible verse to adhere to. Bye

Moka: I have been watching your interaction with Lavinder11. Of late, I felt that her comments were irreverent and disrespectful to the Christian faith. She is blocked from posting on this page. If you wish to continue your discourse with her, you will have to post directly on her page. You handled the discussion well. Hat Tip! Have wonderously blessed day in Christ!

This show is entertaining at times and I like some of the advice given, but its kind of sad to see some black people on here being exploited as uneducated, "ghetto", and irresponsible, always taking their problems as a joke to entertain other people. Even though they agree to whatever terms this program offers, I wonder if anyone ever looks at the show and feels any kind of embarrassment.
