OK I didn't bother reading any of the comments but i know for a fact your suppose to stop at that red light so in my opinion you rightfully deserved that ticket. My dad did the exact same thing, hollywood stopped at a red light like that and got the same ticket although in CA it was more like $300 plus traffic school so consider yourself lucky.

A right turn on "red" still requires a "stop". Also you need to look up the definition of legal, because its obvious you have no idea what it means.
I agree about governments being corrupt and destroying not only the fabric of communities but pretty much anything else they're involved with. Just look what they did to there own people on 9/11/01. Red light tickets are the least of your peoples concerns!
