Wait, you're a little mixed up here.
This episode aired on October 31, 2004. So let's look at the 2004 Murcielago. 479 lb.-ft at 5400 RPM. 5400 RPM is low?? Most Euro sports cars are high-revving, high compression motors like this.
As for the Evo VIII FQ400, it admittedly makes its peak torque at around the same RPM, but I think everyone knows most turbocharged engines produce a lot of low-end torque...
