Noel really is the heart of Oasis. He has written anthems that have defined a generation of British youth. I'm glad he got to do this whole gig alone because there is a certain intimacy between a songwriter and his songs and it was great to see Noel take charge of every one without Liam in the way. That isn't to say that I don't like Liam because he is invaluable. But Noel is just amazing.

Sorry to sound "un Oasis" But this version is awful! The horn section makes it sound like a Blackpool Promenade version. Sounds too clean for Oasis. if you know what I mean! seems all Oasis fans are sycophants though. Even when they sound awful it's always the "greatest version ever" or some bollocks. I like Oasis but they can sound shite live, that's all I'm saying.

I'm not a fan of Oasis and I'm more of a sceptic (in my eyes it will always one of the most overrated bands ever), but I think this version is really decent! Except Noel's lousy voice in this version.

"oasis" isnt just the big rock band and bad asses everyone thinks they are, oasis does rock out, but noel can take the heaviest songs and completely change them, they're music cant even be labeled, it could range anywhere from rock to folk music depending on what they do with it. If you were real oasis fans you would understand this is noel being creative and taking his songs to another level.. im with you dave, and the rest of u fucks-give noel some respect on what he does with his songs

I adore this version!, the whole unplugged set was amazing , totally different from an oasis gig which is what made it special - noel voice is very different to liams - I like noel singing these songs - they are his songs after all...

This setup was designed for Liam to be there and he bailed out last minute. If Noel had the acoustic setup his way, he would have sung it 10 times better.
Pretty good performance considering Liam left a minute before the show was to begin! Also, Noel had to fill in for Liam AND do the backup vocals...Cmon people..
