TF2 - How to play the Scout

Finally here. After a tf2 update rendered all of my footage useless, I had to recap a lot of footage, and ended up with more than I could manage. Anyway, I couldn't fit everything into 10 minutes, so I had to split it up into two parts.

a public steam group centered on my new server: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/MantaEngie/ And yes, I know the quality is horrible. I tried uploading it 3 times with 3 different codecs. Go watch the stage6 version when it comes out. :)

Hmm when there's a medic and a heavy, IF you are behind them then take out the medic if you can before the heavy turns round. Even if the heavy notices and mows you down, you've done your bit by making sure your team doesn't have to deal with an ubercharge. I'd also add that knowing the map makes a big difference with scouts (spies too), knowing where to run and where health packs are. The amount of times i run off madly straight towards the enemy or round the corner into a pyro :P

This game is extremely, EXTREMELY difficult to pirate mainly because it is an multiplayer ONLY game and your stats from in game are tracked to your Steam Account. So for example, if you got an achievement on a pirated version of any steam game, your game would just crash because it is fully integrated with Steam. Sorry Fegdog but you gotta buy it like the rest of us =/ .

I find that the scout melee weapon is actually a good weapon to use in serious fights where all the other weapons except maybe the pyro's new axe are just for messing around.

he had a nailgun in tfc but its only a scattergun in tf2, but u can sort do a machine gun with the pistol

just so you all know, it is possible to take down an engy, his sentry, and his dispenser as scout. one way to kill the sentry is to circle strafe as mentioned. however, you can also use the engineer's dispenser as a shield. then just shoot and take cover so that u dont get raped. its really cool when you pull it off XD

If you sneak up behind someone with the scout, you can easily kill them with your scattergun before they figure out what's going on. The scattergun is better than the bat at close range; the bat is better for humiliation than actual combat.

man i cant wait for upgrades for the scout, i wanna se what they got comeing for him. Hopefully a SMG of somekind as his secondary weapon.

i love running into other scouts:what i usually do is run awy from them and then i just jump next to them while theyre running(me running along sideways)AND JUST SHOOT THE HELL OUT OF THEM WITH MY SCATTERGUN!!!
