thats because they have turned into a fucking new-metal band! omg how can axl make such a mistake? he turned a trademark for the LA-wave in the 80's to some shit like that? its amazing what a lot of money and fame can do to you:P
but still, yes Velvet Revolver is better than Guns N' Roses atm. but the only thing i hope for now is that Axl gets smart and gets GNR on its original crew, and then they play both VR and GNR songs.. that would be amazing

axl's voice is so different from Scott's, so it would sound like a cover, even when the only difference is the vocals... Axl and Scott got 2 different voices, so i would say that none of them are better than the other one ;)
