| I have to Agree that Reeves Performance was the best and he will always be Superman to his fans (I am one of them). But for better or worst we have to deal with the fact that others will play the role of Superman. Routh, I felt, did a decent job in Superman Returns; considering he had big shoes to fill. As for Tom Welling I cant really comment since I have not watched much Smallvile. |

| I hope one day scientists can genetically engineer our own superman lol! reeves was the best superman but routh did an awesome job! and the special effects they can put in now are phenomenal when he fly's rite through the planes wing and doesn't even flinch gets me going every time! not sure what all that crappy smallville stuff is all about tho! |

| Couldn't disagree more. I don't particularly enjoy Reeves as either character. Cain was perhaps the least impressive of all the Superman/Clark Kent actors. Reeve nailed both, especially Clark Kent. Look at how flawlessly Reeve was able to shift between both characters in a single sequence. A fine example is at the end of Superman II when he kiss Lois the amnesia kiss. Watch how he smoothly moves from Kal-El into Kent as Lois loses all memory of who Clark really is. Superb. |
