Just some more ... ( 8 months ago by Macedonia360)
Just some more hating! Yeh, that's what this country needs. Blacks are more prejudice than whites and as the hate builds from family, churches, and community so does the white resentment for blacks demanding more than fairness. The whites will soon find their very own Dr. King to answer all your complaints.
hmm perhaps you ... ( 8 months ago by ACCHORD)
hmm perhaps you have misunderstood me. I'm not saying all whites are like this or white bashing please forgive me if this is what you interpreted I'm just saying we have accomplished alot in making Dr. Kings dream come true I mean look who's running for president but the fact that issues like the dealing of katrina and the jena 6 and the arresting of marion jones and the trials of barry bonds while about 80 some other athletes were found using it to but nothing was brought against them.
shows that we still ... ( 7 months ago by ACCHORD)
shows that we still have work to do. and as far as finding your own dr. king I think you are missing the heart of the message. let's work together on issues that affect all of us that's the dream it's cooperation not competition. peace fam A

dude u need to shut up do u know what my people been through if u didn't know we been throuh rape, beatings, and being called out of our names and if u ask me thats is what hating is ur people had to beat on blacks to make there self feel better
I hear what you're ... ( 7 months ago by Macedonia360)
I hear what you're saying and understand that you feel there is a greater slant or prejudice against blacks. I live in N.O. and lived in Baton Rouge so I've experienced aspects of those events that may not get portrayed in the media. These events are sympathetic to blacks at the expense of the white race. There's limited space here to explain, but an example is what one of the Jena6 guys recently did that got him arrested in another state. Let's live in peace; not in blame.
Your race's history ... ( 7 months ago by Macedonia360)
Your race's history is, indeed, littered w/ misfortunes at the hand of the white man. It is a sad past, but the times HAVE changed. I could easily complain that blacks have committed far more crimes against whites than whites against blacks; so who's beating who? Don't believe me? Look at the jails. Or is that our fault too? Take your head out of the sand and own up to your race's share of the hate that helps keeps this prejudice alive.
yeah I am NOT at ... ( 7 months ago by ACCHORD)
yeah I am NOT at all saying that african american's have no ownership in their present state. 90% of african americans in jail grew up without their fathers. We have to take care of our responsibilities at home. That's why if you listen again the third verse in this song talks about the problems I view we as a people are doing to contribute to the problem. Also marion joines, m. vick, bonds and jena 6 made a bad decision. I'm not asking for them to not be punished i'm just asking for justice
I imagine your idea ... ( 7 months ago by Macedonia360)
I imagine your idea of "justice" differs from mine re: Jena6 and that is the issue our races have w/ that subject. Many whites have grown up w/o a father too, but they're not taking their anger to the black communities in the form of crime. You can't even turn on the TV/radio/movie anymore w/o a black innuendo or out right disdain for the white race. Whites are just burned out from hearing the same broken record; "whites, look what a mean race you are". There's no give; just all take.

your a ignorant ... ( 6 months ago by mcryanv)
your a ignorant cuss. damn dude do you understand that he's talking about coming together as a nation, not as two races. the hating needs to stop, and Jena 6 did what was right, they never started anything, the white students who hung the nooses were wrong. The kid was only in the hospital for like an hour or two anyway. they7 didn't hurt him at all. Also this song originally was good, but I really like your version as well, anywhere I can get the DL?
Cryin'? I'm singing ... ( 6 months ago by Macedonia360)
Cryin'? I'm singing. The blacks, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton (weep, weep), NAACP have been crying for years. Poor, poor black community....look what the white's are doing to us....we are such the victims....what's the gov't. gonna give us so we will stop crying? Please, we need more, more 'cause we are just hurting so bad. (weep, weep)
The black students ... ( 6 months ago by Macedonia360)
The black students were stopped by white students before they beat the guy to death; not because the black students voluntarily stopped. This is another example of how the black race will take ANY opportunity to yell foul against a white. The only action deserving of fighting was if a white boy hit the black students; not hanging a noose. How is this song about the nation coming together? By pointing out white failures and showcasing black leaders. Yeh, that'll do it. It's about black unity.
I doubt that, I met ... ( 6 months ago by mcryanv)
I doubt that, I met two of the Jena Six when I was at the Bet hip hop awards in Atlanta. And thats not how they told the story, and I def. trust them over you. sorry. And black unity is the first step of the nation coming together as a whole, because black people fight black people daily. while white people usually don't fight white people.
