When I was 12 years old, while going through my dad's old album collections, I discovered an old recording by Doris Day. On the cover was Doris Day's beautiful smiling picture. When I played her album, this was her first selection and I was mesmerized. Such a beautiful song, it still moves me to this day. It took many more years and a loss of a beautiful woman's love to make me finally understand the meaning of this song.

Franky does not do justice to this song. Look up Nat King Cole's. Sinatra doesn't even do both halves of the song. (Part I is in English, part II is in French.) It really isn't complete without the second half. Much more beautiful alllll together. :)
